Tips for selling your home
Along with "location, location, location, " curb appeal can do wonders to set up a positive reaction to your home. Curb appeal is all about putting your best foot forward and making a great first impression with potential buyers. It's mulched beds, flowers in bloom, trimmed bushes, and a green and well-manicured lawn. It's how your home shows from the street, how it is first perceived by the buyer, how it entices the buyer to want to see more.
Once inside, neat and clean is the order of the day. Reduce clutter, thin out the "stuff" and put away your belongings so buyers can more easily imagine themselves and their belongings in your home. After all, you're moving out and you want someone else to move in. That's the whole idea.
Be sure to keep the lights on. Electricity isn't cheap, but a well-illuminated home shows better and lets buyers see what they're buying.
And, finally, consult the Kennihan Team. We've seen many homes and can give you all sorts of pointers on how to best present your home to potential buyers.
